Objectives

It is clear that there are many benefits of participating in an Erasmus + VET mobility. We could include them mainly in: - Improving the competence and linguistic profile of a language other than the mother tongue. - Improve competence and skills in the labor market, knowing other ways to carry out professional skills acquired in their country of origin. - To improve the social and communication skills of the students, facilitating their future integration in the Spanish and European labor market. - To learn about other forms of labor organization, industrial production and innovations in the different productive sectors. - Personal development and growth, being in many cases the first experience of independence from the family environment. The students have to solve small problems and difficulties that in other occasions would be solved by their families.

Background

The project was requested to give coverage and continuity to the commitment that the Santiago Hernandez Institute has been following with Erasmus + FP mobility since 2007. From the institute, we are clear about the importance of being European citizens, and being able to have aspirations beyond our country. We believe that as teachers we must transmit to the students this vision and breadth of vision, seeking that they do not limit themselves in the possibilities and advantages that being a European citizen offers them. The Erasmus + Mobility VET mobilities have a good reception in our center by the students, and are fully supported, both by the teaching teams and by the direction of the center, since all of them understand and value the advantages for students both in educational and personal development, thus being able to improve the overall personal growth of those who carry them out. Being aware of the European scope of which we are part, we do not understand from the Santiago Hernandez High School that our students are not given a vision of Europe.
