Objectives

The main OBJECTIVE that our school wanted to achieve with this project is to expand the employability horizon of the students and complete our internationalization process. Thanks to this project, students have had the possibility to do practical work in multicultural productive environments and strengthen their knowledge and skills. With this, the students have acquired quality training, both in lifelong learning and in specific and transversal skills to be able to address any situation that may arise in the working world. In summary, we can consider that the objectives achieved in the medium and long term are: - Expand and extend our projects to a greater number of European countries and find alternatives to jobs for students to carry out their internships involving the greater number of teachers. - Analyse the teaching methodologies of other countries to adapt them to our academic environment and train both students and teachers. - Promote the dissemination of the mobilities carried out so far in order to inform the entire population of the training and work opportunities at the international level of IES Núm.1 of Xàbia.

Background

The main objective of this project is to give continuity to the path undertaken in the year 2015-2016 with the implementation of Erasmus + in Vocational Training so that, the realization of mobilities abroad, is a reality in the global learning programme that we offer in our school. In this way, part of the professional apprenticeship of our students (regardless of the training family to which their cycle belongs) is carried out in a country different from their own, because we are convinced of the benefit that it entails both for their personal life and for their professional projection in the future. The IES Núm. 1 of Xàbia (now IES La Mar) is aware that the Erasmus + programme must be part of our project as a secondary school, a project that involves the entire educational community (students, teachers, families, non-teaching staff and municipality). This is why the largest number of people has been involved so that the impact of the mobilities is as big as possible and so that the benefits are substantial both for the people who carry out the mobilities and for the educational centre itself. With this KA116 project, the process of internationalization started more than a decade ago has been fulfilled.
