The project has pursued two main objectives in its validity as the main center of the proposal: - On the one hand, the mobility of students of the Microcomputer Systems and Networks (SMR) cycle to develop Training in Work Centers (FCT) for their internships in companies in the April-June period to carry out the training hours and during the period that is regulated in the regulations of this training cycle. -The other objective has been to provide students of the TECO cycle already qualified, the opportunity to improve their training with internships in companies in the sector in another country. Secondary objectives developed: -Improve the labor integration of participating students when they reach their degree. -Develop and foster English language skills and intercultural skills to open doors in the labor market. -Strengthen the international dimension of the center to continue being a benchmark public center. -Extend the European integration of students in cultural, social and work habits aspects.
The project is the continuation of another 9 editions that since 2008 the IES Hermanos Machado promotes among the students of the Vocational Training center the possibilities of carrying out a stay in a company in the sector in a country of the European Union. This project is based in the center, integrated into the Internationalization Plan of the IES Hermanos Machado, as well as within the Annual Plan of the center. In the previous planning of this proposal, it was decided that only student mobilities were requested, since in the previous project mobilities were requested for teachers, as well as students. Of the only two training cycles that he has at IES Hermanos Machado, the initial project had been thought only for the students of the Computer Science professional family and specifically in the training cycle of Microcomputer Systems and Networks (SMR). The cycle of Technician in Driving in Physical Sports Activities in the Natural Environment (TECO), the center participates in a consortium. The Covid situation in March 2021 has motivated us to change the initial project and offer students mobilities from the training cycles only in the 21/22 academic year.
