CIFP Profesor Raúl Vázquez offers vocational training programs within the field of Transportation and Vehicle Maintenance. Our center is located in a district of Madrid called Puente de Vallecas, a working class neighborhood. The institution has been managing European projects for vocational training since 2011. We have managed about 60 mobilities of Vocational Training students and 24 mobilities of staff. Our European internationalization strategy is based on the development of vocational training for our students and teachers in a European setting, strengthening relations with other European institutions. Our participation in European Education Programs is considered as an opportunty for teachers to grow, as well as enhancing the same opportunity for the educational institution. The project has been carried out with a main purpose, which is that students in Middle Grade Training Cycles that are being taught in this center may have the opportunity to carry out their ‘Training in the Work Center’ course, (FCT) in companies in the vehicle maintenance sector in another European country, specifically in Italy and Germany. This module is mandatory in the curriculum of these vocational cycles and has a workload of 370 hours.
