The objective of this mobility is for students to carry out internships in companies related to their professional profiles and in this sense our partners have an important network of companies and will be in charge of selecting the companies that fit the profile of our students and their program formative. The objectives that we have tried to achieve with this project are the following: • Promote the European spirit and mobility in our Center in order to achieve a more cohesive society. • Improve the quality of the training given in our Center in relation to the CFGM and FPB through the professional development of our teaching staff, even if they go on this project as companions. • Adapt our professional training to the real needs of the European labor market. • Improve the language skills of our students and companions. • Increase the employability and competitiveness of our intermediate vocational training and FPB students. • Increase the network of contacts in Europe with training centers, companies and other organizations involved in training and employment. • Promote the use of validation and recognition tools for training periods in Europe.
This “Growing across Europe” project was designed for 2nd year CFGM and FPB students from different specialties at the Salesiano Santísima Trinidad school in Seville, such as Machining, Electricity, Maintenance, Telecommunications and Automotive. Being a total of 26 students and 6 accompanying teachers developing in a period of 24 months during the academic years 2020-21 and 2021-22 This project has addressed the primary needs of our FP, such as the difficulty our CFGM and FPB students have in joining the labor market, the lack of opportunities to participate in European mobility programs for students with greater needs, the high dropout rate of students who enroll, the lack of updating of knowledge and professional skills that our Vocational Training teachers may also acquire in the accompaniment of our students. "Growing across Europe“ was written for three different destinations to respond to the needs raised through Short-Term Mobilities of VET students; - Germany making an electric vehicle - Sicily and Reggio Calabria in companies
