The Covid-19 crisis has evidenced, among other problems, that the field of education was not 100% prepared to face a virtual, online and/or distance learning model. This was especially noticeable in adult education, because this population group has a deficit in digital skills and in the use of electronic educational platforms. This is the starting point of the project "eAdults: Exchange of good practices for promoting virtual education among adult people through electronic platforms", which arose from the need to search, identify and evaluate which electronic educational platforms were the most used and effective in a context of virtual education for adults. The general objective of eAdults was the following: - To generate evidence on the most widely used and effective electronic platforms to successfully promote virtual, online and/or distance education in adults. Based on the above evidence, the specific objectives of eAdults were the following: - To analyze the context and variables that make electronic platforms effective in virtual, online and distance learning (especially in adult education). - Identify what characteristics make up e-platforms in virtual, online and distance learning (especially in adult education). - To evaluate the effectiveness of electronic platforms that are active or have been implemented in the educational field (especially in adult education). To achieve the objectives of eAdults, the following activities were carried out: - A context analysis where educators and students identified advantages and difficulties of online education, as well as the most used platforms. - A mapping of good practices in all project countries on successful experiences in formal and non-formal online education. - A transnational workshop to evaluate the platforms and educational activities that were most present in the previous two points. - A final recommendation on what online adult education through electronic platforms should look like eAdults succeeded in publishing the eAdults Booklet. This unique publication provides the following: - An EDUCATIONAL CATALOGUE that identifies which electronic platforms have been the most used in the field of adult education and what are their main features. - A RECOMMENDATION GUIDE with success stories in the field of adult education and recommendations on how to develop new, alternative and effective online teaching activities in both formal and non-formal education. In addition, the project partners are preparing a proposal for Cooperative Partnerships for the 2023 call, with the aim of developing an electronic platform for e-learning in adult education.
