Delyramus objective was aimed to train adults with and without disabilities in the cultural sector (we have specially designed 4 training modules: 1) String construction with lamb intestines; 2) Construction of instruments and interpretation of organological sources; 3) Interpretation of traditional and contemporary music). It has been an innovative project because in addition to developing new training practices for Adults, it also allowed us to contribute to the recovery of European cultural heritage, recovering traditional trades such as lamb strings building and "violería" , the construction of ancient music instruments. Delyramus et Laboramus continued the work of a consortium that has already collaborated in a previous project co-financed by the Creative Europe Program (Delyramus 2018-2020), reinforcing its objectives, updated by the results obtained and the accumulated experience, increasing its impact and giving a step further to ensure the sustainability of the project. In this project we focused on the development of innovative practices in the field of adult education, with the next objectives: • Development of new training programs, as well as learning materials and tools (O2, O3, O4). • Development of a pedagogical framework and a guide for self-assessment of integrative teaching strategies (O1). • Development of new forms of learning and teaching for adults, especially a strategic use of open and flexible learning (O6). • Development of tools and methods for the professionalization and professional development of adult education teachers and staff (O1, O2, O3, O4). • Development of strategic cooperation between adult learning providers on the one hand and local or regional authorities on the other (O6). • Development of the practical application and testing of methods for the valorization of knowledge and skills acquired through informal and non-formal learning (O5). • Development of training courses to improve the availability and quality of European training courses by creating methodological sheets available for teachers, directors and other staff members of adult education centers on the project website (O2, O3, O4,.06). As for the direct participants, on the one hand, we have 20 trainers and teachers who participate in the training and creation of products for people between 25 and 50 years old. On the other hand, 15 volunteer musicians, half of them teachers from different Conservatories and Professional Conservatories of Early Music in Spain, who participated in the Design Thinking process. And finally, we have the students who participated in the training activities during the product development process. 61 students in total, 60 people with disabilities, low levels of employability or in vulnerable situations who need to improve their skills. Delyramus has reached 460 people in total through the various workshops and events held as part of the project, raising awareness of the project among a large group of the target population. In addition, at the virtual level: through the project's promotional videos and visits to the website, more than 1,000 people have viewed the contents. The innovative approach of the project comes from the consortium, made up of 5 entities from 3 different countries and coming from different fields (educational, social and cultural). This fact allows Delyramus to develop quality and innovative products using very different learning methodologies but with a common denominator, the objective of training adults, between 25 and 50 years old, in an inclusive way in the cultural sector. To achieve the objectives, several actions have been carried out, divided into 4 blocks: 1. Management and implementation of the project; 2. Definition of the pedagogical framework; 3. Development of the Delyramus program and training materials (3 modules); 4. Dissemination and exploitation of results.
The main objective of the project is the training of adults with and without disabilities in the cultural sector, through 3 training modules: 1) String construction; 2) Instrument construction and interpretation of organological sources; 3) Interpretation of traditional and contemporary music. In order to achieve this main objective, several specific objectives were proposed: - Development of new training programs. - Development of methodologies and pedagogical approaches to learning and teaching for adult learners. - Development of new ways of learning and teaching for adult learners. - Development of tools and methods for professionalization and professional development of adult education. - Development of strategic cooperation between adult learning providers and local or regional authorities. - Development of practical application and testing of methods of valorization of knowledge and competencies acquired through informal and non-formal learning. - Development of training courses to improve the availability and quality of European training courses available for education professionals.
This project is the continuation of the work of a consortium that has already collaborated in a previous project co-funded by the Creative Europe Program (Delyramus 2018- 2020), reinforcing its objectives, updated by the results obtained and the accumulated experience, increasing its impact and taking a step further to ensure the sustainability of the project. We saw the importance of music in the intervention with people with disabilities and saw the need to continue with the project that began then, but now focusing the work towards non-formal training in order to improve their social and cultural integration. As an innovative point to contribute to the recovery of the European cultural heritage through the training of adults, recovering traditional trades such as lamb, fiddle making and the construction of ancient music instruments, which seems to be booming again. Thanks to the positive results of the 2018.2020 project we have seen it necessary to continue along this path and thus contribute to the approach of culture and music to people with disabilities thus improving their training for the world of work and to improve their social skills, integration and interest in culture.
