The pandemic we are experiencing motivated educational institutions to transform. The schools “Escola Secondary Felgueiras”, “ISIS Nobile - Amundsen”, “Liceul Tehnologic Agromontan “Romeo Constantinescu”” and “IESO Cella Vinaria”, wanted to take a step in this direction through an Erasmus+ project in which the entrepreneurial competence and creativity between teachers and students, as they considered this competence essential to face the changes and evolution post-pandemic Our project has pursued four objectives: 1) Develop practical training in EntreComp between teachers and students accompanied by an evaluation in which we assess the entrepreneurial skills in our students between 13 and 16 years old. 2) Develop a plan for detecting and training leaders among the students who have obtained the best results in EntreComp with a theme based on European citizenship and participation. 3) Enrich the orientation and inclusion plans for students at risk of dropping out of the educational system based on EntreComp evaluations, so that entrepreneurial skills are taken into account in order to guide these students in their continuity in the educational system, or well, enhancing their soft skills for future employability. 4) Establish changes in the official documents of the schools, through plans to improve entrepreneurial competence in each school and focus on the entire educational community. The number of students who participated in this project exceeded 200 in the selection and training phases of students to participate in the mobilities. Subsequently, in the leadership phase, we have worked with about 80 students, who in addition to taking part in the mobilities, were involved in the participation and organization of school activities and projects (competitions, cultural weeks, meetings, debates, Erasmus dissemination [Erasmus days],..) The teachers were another of the main groups in this project. We knew the importance of entrepreneurial competence, although there was a lack of training and tools to apply it in various areas. Through theoretical and practical training, accompanied by practical examples of how to mobilize entrepreneurial skills, mainly through the use of Agile methodologies, we have achieved that teachers from the 4 countries involved are able to bring the EntreComp framework, not only to their classrooms, but also to transversal projects in their schools. One of the basic pillars of entrepreneurship is networking. In this sense, schools have worked hard to weave collaboration networks that range from the active participation of families and local administrations; reaching regional and national institutions, foundations and companies. Also, thanks to the background of the project's coordinating school, the project has had the participation of the European Parliament headquarters in Madrid and even the participation of MEPs (Mrs. Maite Pagazaurtundua sponsored actions carried out from this project and has participated electronically in mobility) The EntreComp training that we have carried out has been a creative and participatory training in which the students have been trained based on workshops and dynamics in which they were always asked for a final result or product. The creations and results have been closely linked to artistic expressions (micro-stories, short dramatizations, models, exhibitions,...). The process has been as important as the result (for this, schools have developed and used evaluation rubrics with which they assess entrepreneurial skills) As results of the project we have: + Tests and evaluation rubrics for EntreComp + Guide with the activities and tasks used in leadership training plans through EntreComp. + Results that the students have generated from the various dynamics and workshops of the training (micro-stories, radio programs, dramatizations and films [project “Cortos en serie”], models, exhibitions, project “Abre tu mente .Migra tu visión”,...) + 12 evaluation reports from each school about the school visited and its environment (collected in the evaluation plan) + 4 improvement plans for each of the schools participating in the project. The impact on the four educational centers is today palpable with the incorporation of plans to improve entrepreneurial competence in their educational projects. Furthermore, thanks to the networks woven by each educational center, we have ensured that the entrepreneurial and creative impact does not remain only in the educational field, moving to the community, with the organization of events or with the holding of open days at the educational centers. for the municipalities in their areas.
Our project pursued four objectives: 1) Develop practical training in EntreComp between teachers and students that ends with an evaluation in which we assess the entrepreneurial skills of our students between 13 and 16 years old. 2) Develop a leadership training plan among students who have obtained the best results in EntreComp with a theme based on European citizenship. 3) Develop orientation and inclusion plans for students at risk of dropping out of the educational system based on EntreComp evaluations. 4) Establish changes in the official documents of the schools, from a creative and collaborative process, so that the transformation is possible.
There were various motivations to carry out this project, most of them linked to entrepreneurship, but it was the pandemic situation experienced during 2020 that drove us, by showing us needs and aspects to improve in our schools and in our teaching work. One way to address the weaknesses found was to consider this project, with which to train and enhance entrepreneurial competence in general and creativity in particular, to respond to the changing reality that we were experiencing. The Spanish partner was the precursor and who initiated contacts with the other schools in order to mature and carry out the project. After several months of contacts and joint work, the project was presented, approved and financed. The Romanian partner argues that among their needs was also improving communication between the educational community, the development of creativity in classes and better addressing emotional education. The Portuguese partner emphasized the need to work on innovative ideas to develop entrepreneurship using creative methods through cooperative work. The Italian partner, in addition to agreeing, added the need to promote a more European identity.
