The HOLCRA project has 3 main branches as objectives: - EUROPEAN: know and work on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, the UNESCO cultural heritage, that students feel like EU citizens and recognize cultural diversity as a link of the shared union, commitment and civic participation. - SCHOOL: learn and apply new methodologies (teaching strategies at practice, learning and service, and gamification), the inclusion of students with needs, create transversal activities between subjects, including activities in the curriculum, make use of competencies, create links between teachers, students and centers schoolchildren from partner countries, favor the relationship of the center with its educational community and neighborhood and the use of ICT's. - SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL: help socially by using the acquired knowledge, study of the environment and promote education for its protection and care. The participating partners have as a link: wanting to help these students in need, interest in new methodologies, the study and care of the closest heritage as well as the discovery of UNESCO heritage, the creation of links with other European centers and the comparison of educational systems. To achieve these objectives, the actions revolve around 6 central axes linked to the six colors of the rainbow: heritage promotion (red), linguistic heritage (blue), spiritual and traditional heritage (purple), natural heritage (green), cultural heritage (yellow) and social heritage and EU Charter of Fundamental Rights (orange). The proposed activities include case studies, research, photography contests, video conferences, video production, creation of information points ... During 3 or 4 months we will work on one color through different activities. Most of them use eTwinning because students are going to work through international cooperative groups. The idea is that students should know each of the activities in each country, as well as the results obtained because in the Learning, Education and Training Activity (LETA), they will exhibit their work at a fair to families and invited associations. In addition, the color orange will be addressed at each mobility to study a fundamental right, leaving the results exposed in the corners of the schools dedicated to it. The fair will be the culmination of the learning and service methodology. As for mobility, it will be set using gamification with the title of "Save the colors of the rainbow for Gaia". The students will do the activities in the meetings in the role(costume) of the heroes (characters from each country, they may be of legends, artists, athletes, national hero ...) Teachers will have training workshops on the different methodologies to apply, as well as notions of how to teach students in need, such as dyslexia or what it is like teaching in a practice school of the university for student teachers learning how to teach in practice teaching 15 lessons in a class. The project is designed so that it can be applied throughout the secondary education stage of each of the centers. Likewise, all students will be able to participate in the center activities since they are designed to be applied from the areas, there will even be interdisciplinary activities. As for the LETA, there will be a total of 125 participating students, 25 of them will have some need. The selection will be made for motivation, participation in the proposed activities, good behavior, with what will be available to everyone. Etwinning will be essential for students to share their results, plan exhibitions, monitor common activities, dialogue ... Also the teachers and coordinators will make the same use. We hope to be able to achieve the proposed objectives, achieving the union of the students among the countries that acquire improvement of the competences worked, that there is a greater knowledge of the culture that we share, knowledge of the European Union and the tools that it offers us, such as Interrail, Solidarity Corps, Erasmus, Europass, teaching practicing, community voluntary work. Students will find it useful to learn a language that facilitates communication with other countries, they will break the idea of just working in their country, they will open their borders so that in the future they can study and work in other European countries. The center and the educational community will benefit from this link, they will get to know the different cultures through tolerance, respect, and non-discrimination. Each center will have a European corner and another dedicated to the fundamental values of the EU. In the long term, each center will be able to apply the new methodologies learned, they will learn more ICT tools to be able to apply in their classes, they will be able to celebrate each world day highlighted in the project, they will have a common base of activities (Excel), a link with the associations and with the participating European centers.
The HOLCRA project has been structured into 3 main branches as objectives: - EUROPEAN: They have been introduced and carried out activities on the EU charter of fundamental rights, the UNESCO cultural heritage, to make students feel like citizens of the EU and recognize cultural diversity as a link between them. - SCHOOL: Different methodologies have been used in each of the mobilities to experience them in the first person (such as gamification in Hungary as a common thread). The inclusion of students with needs has been carried out according to the reality and possibilities of each center, mainly in the activities prior to each mobility. The activities of the project have been raised from different subjects. For example, the posters of the European days focused from Values / ethics together with plastic and computer science. These activities have served to exchange experiences between peer teachers in each school. - SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL: The social impact of this project has fallen directly on the families of the students involved but also on classmates because these projects mobilize and motivate a large part of the school. The partners who have participated have shown similar interests: helping to integrate students in need, interest in new methodologies, the study and care of the closest heritage as well as the discovery of UNESCO heritage, create links with other schools and in this way we have compared the different educational systems. To achieve these objectives, the actions have revolved around 6 central axes linked to the six colors of the rainbow: promotion of heritage (red), linguistic heritage (blue), spiritual and traditional heritage (purple), natural heritage (green), cultural heritage (yellow) and social heritage and charter rights fund. EU. (orange). And although we have worked transversally (Everyone at all times) in each mobility we have focused on a different one. During the academic year, activities have been carried out in each school that have then been shared in the mobilities or in online meetings of the students. It has not been possible to use the eTwinning platform and we have had to resort to others such as Office 365, Google or Zoom for calls and Paddlet or canvas for cooperative work from different places. In addition, in each mobility there have been small exhibitions or talks open to families and other educational agents to publicize the results of the project. The culmination of the project was in Valencia, where an exhibition was made with the work during the week and especially on the European Union, each group made an explanation about the origin, the member states, the history of the EU, and the different institutions. And in Debrecen it was set using super-heroes from each country and getting points for "Save the color for Gaia". Gamification served as the backbone and motivation for students. The AAEyF have been open to the secondary stage of each school, but due to the different educational systems it has been for students between 11 and 17 years old depending on the school. All the students who have wanted have been able to participate in the online activities or own of each country and special opportunity has been given to students with some need since it was one of the objectives of the project. We have had students who have traveled and students who have participated directly in the mobility itself (As for example in Portugal, a student with learning difficulties was in charge of the initial tour of the school). With the partial evaluations and the final one we can ensure, based on the results that the proposed objectives have been achieved. They have been aware of how diverse the European Union is and how similar we still are. In addition to knowing some common resources that we have such as the interrail because they prepared a fictitious trip to Valencia, from each school to reach the last mobility. And above all, the importance of mastering English to meet and communicate with other people, as well as empowering themselves by seeing that they have the resources to do so. At all times, attitudes of tolerance and respect towards others have been identified and we have taken the opportunity to work on fundamental values of the EU by celebrating marked days with posters (Youth Day, European Union Day, Peace and Human Rights Day.
