A topic of complete news, which every day covers news in all areas of our society, is gender balance. According to the Royal Spanish Academy, feminism means “equal treatment for both genders, beyond physical differences,” something that we consider fundamental from the Kin-ball Valladolid Entity and the rest of the project partners. Every day we hear many cases of gender inequality, imbalance of rights or sexist behavior, but how is this gap between men and women really? To answer this, we will rely on the objective data of the Gender Equality Index 2019 developed by the European Institute for Gender Equality (https://eige.europa.eu/gender-equality-index/2019/compare-countries). This index is a tool to measure the progress of gender equality in the European Union, gives more visibility to areas that need improvement and, ultimately, supports policy makers to design more effective gender equality measures ; It reveals both progress and setbacks, and explores what can be done best to take advantage of opportunities for change. That is why, through the project “COCKTAIL: GENDER SPORTS” we want to raise awareness about gender equality and feminism, with special application to the labor market, knowing the existing problems and employment opportunities that arise from equality policies. For this we will use sport, because although the only form of superiority between genders is biological capabilities, this fact is only undeniable in extreme physical efforts. Thus, even in amateur sport, both men and women can be equally capable and get the same results. Our objectives are: to promote feminism, inclusion in the labor market and promote mixed sports. These are specified in: - Learn the true meaning of feminism - Know the gender imbalances in society - Raise awareness about the equality of women and men - Create tools to generate inclusion and respect - Give employment guidance and use of equality policies - Generate women's empowerment - Practice mixed sports - Improve the personal skills of the participants
