Objectives

The partners have agreed to put into practice our previous learning by implementing a youth exchange in which we can apply the dynamics and some of the exercises that we learned in the previous training of the SET project. The young people who have participated are mostly young children of migrants (second generation) as well as other young people at risk of social exclusion. The problem that this exchange project wanted to address refers to one of the key political objectives for the EU and has to do with the entrepreneurial capacity of young Europeans, which is very limited and entrepreneurial learning is not fully developed. Therefore, the main motivation has been to develop in them the ability to convert ideas into actions that generate value for the local community and that serve to strengthen their self-esteem and their spirit of initiative and social entrepreneurship. The needs of the participants are related to the development of the so-called EntreComp (Key Competencies for Social Entrepreneurship) in them at all levels that make up the cultural, social and economic value: personal development, active participation in society, (re) insertion into the labor market and the start-up of companies at these different levels. The target group of the exchange has been young people who lack this type of skills, as well as self-confidence at the level of personal development. GENERAL OBJECTIVE - Develop in young people their spirit of social entrepreneurship using the framework and tools that were developed in the European SET course, in relation to the EntreComp framework and its link with the bases of Daniel Goleman's Emotional Intelligence . SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES - Increase the sense of security and reinforce the self-esteem of the young participants so that they can generate a creative process where they generate ideas that they can later transform into opportunities to create value; - Provide a space and environment for the exchange of experiences and collaborative learning that encourages the spirit of initiative of the participants. - Explore and help unlock the fears and insecurities that hinder the creativity of young people. - Create a space for the creation of their own business project ideas while learning from the projects and experiences of other colleagues This project was aimed at young people at risk of social exclusion and in particular those who come from ethnic origins other than European, second generation migrants, young refugees and other young people with difficulties for their social integration in their local community. This project primarily addressed the needs of the participants through the use of non-formal educational activities on both topics covered: social entrepreneurship and emotional intelligence. Therefore, the desired impacts identified by the partner organizations were achieved, especially by contributing to the development of the entrepreneurial spirit of young people, the promotion of intercultural dialogue, as an element that helps in the fight against extremism and radicalization today. , while promoting international mobility and the fight against cultural prejudice.
