Objectives

Being a young entrepreneur requires to face the complexities of today's rapidly changing society. The entrepreneurship trajectory means more than hit on the idea but the non-development of competences can drive the idea into failure, frustration or abandon. Bring Values to Communities is the answer to complete the trajectory needed in the entrepreneurship pathway to support the competences linked to success. The mobility project will join youth workers from Romania, Italy, Portugal and Spain to learn about the tools supporting the entrepreneurship competences. The course will focus on providing a thorough understanding about EntreComp framework and how to fix it to youth work. Through this framework, the European Commission remarks youth organisations to reinforce the entrepreneurship competences of young people by using EntreComp as a tool. The organisations involved in Bring values to Communities build this project as the necessary step to adapt youth work to enable new skills to be developed. These recognised skills under the Entrecomp framework (such as creativity and innovation, collaboration with others, having the resilience to put these skills into action, motivation, etc) will become more self-evident in society, and as consequence the change will not just continue, but increase entrepreneurial and innovative youth citizens. The mobility project will prepare youth workers with new and potentially unique tools and ideas for enhancing entrepreneurship competences and entrepreneurship and to act in an entrepreneurial way in life to achieve their goals as youth workers and citizens. The key elements that are at the core of the project are youth participation, active citizenship, boosting entrepreneurship competences, socioeconomic development. Participants are youth workers from the organisations that have experience in the topic and are aware of the need to readdress the entrepreneurship learning but also it will be included youth workers starting in the field to allow professional opportunities. The non formal education allows an approach that will boost a unity in terms of understanding, expressing thoughts and feelings, sharing and reflecting together. The youth workers are aware that the mobility will allow them to introduce innovation to their youth work and thus motivate young entrepreneurs to create their own business or go for their initiatives in general.
