Thanks to these Erasmus + initiatives, young people from Collado Villalba have had the opportunity to learn how they work in Begles (a city recognized for its environmental care) and together with the Fridays for Future movement, in 2019 a group of young people between 14 and 18 years old in Collado Villalba supported by the Department of Youth that has among its purposes promote the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, under the name of Young SDGs. With the purpose of deepen on these objectives and more specifically on objectives 3 ( Health & Wellness) ; 12 (responsible production and consumption) and 13 (climate action), we wanted to organize this exchange, emphasizing awareness of the importance of responsible consumption to promote a sustainable development . On the other hand, in the municipality there is a public bilingual secondary school in French, with which we have a high population of boys and girls interested in improving their linguistic skills in this language. With the launch of this YOUTH EXCHANGE: YOUTH SDG 2022 we wanted to: - Promote in young people the feeling of European citizenship. - Provide experiences with an intercultural learning. - Promote personal and collective initiative. - Promote healthy living. - Promote a positive attitude towards nature. On the other hand we wanted: - Promote the development of linguistic skills in foreign languages (French, Spanish) which will be both core languages, but English will also be used. - Improving the level of aptitudes and key competences for the boys/girls: with this type of experiences not only significant learning in young people but also changes and improvements in their personal abilities. -Promote higher quality work in the field of youth: collaborating with organizations from other countries that work in the same field, and that makes us improve in our day to day, knowing other resources, other methods of work etc
