The main objective of the Youth Exchange “Together We Train” has been to promote the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities through sport. We also promoted the benefits of practicing different sports activities in the personal development and social skills of the young participants. In addition, we used sport as a tool to educate in values such as: acceptance, tolerance, respect, solidarity, fellowship, teamwork. We worked in a cross-cultural way, encouraging the exchange of experiences and lifestyles among young people from different countries, cultures and socio-economic realities and the local host community.
