Objectives

With the execution of this Project we sought to raise awareness and also provide tools to the participants of this activity, so that they can face the reality of our world and work in favor of tolerance and human rights. The main objective of "Harmony of Dialogue" (HOD) was to bring together young people from different cultures and religions, creating a creative and open dialogue scenario in which participants can share common interests, learn to appreciate the richness in diversity and benefit the communities of young people after the youth exchange through learning about tolerance and the richness that coexistence with young people of different cultures and beliefs implies in our lives, communities, and Europe as an essential point of our approach. The work consisted of analyzing the difficulties that each association faced in their respective countries of origin in relation to the integration of minorities, and due to the initial postponement that the Project suffers in relation to Covid 19 and its restrictions, at the time of execution, young people from Ukraine and Russia who were refugees as a result of the war that was taking place parallel to the meeting, participated and were invited by our partner from Barcelona, so we inevitably treated this particular situation as a prototype of intolerance and the need for integration of refugees and minorities. In the same way, it was sought to encourage the use of digital tools, promoting the learning of extremely useful tools through practical workshops that were given: Canva, Google Drive, Google Classroom, SharePoint, etc. In addition, it sought to make young people aware of the importance of leading a healthy life to maintain stable mental and emotional health, through the teaching of meditation practices, yoga, and healthy eating. This specific situation allowed us to reflect on the social inclusion of refugees and minorities, problems suffered by migrants, etc. within a framework of interreligious and intercultural dialogue. Each participating Partner, through their young people, prepared a public exhibition that took place at the "XI Festival of India" and "V Arona Yogafest" held in Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, and organized, among others, by the Arona City Council. In said exhibition the youth expressed themselves about their situation, the difficulties experienced in integration, the needs and the importance of generating spaces for interreligious and intercultural dialogue, etc. Likewise, the entire group worked cooperatively to find specific solutions to the problems, providing hypothetical social measures to be implemented. The objectives set from the beginning were fully linked to those of the Erasmus + program, among which: A.- Offer young Europeans the opportunity to participate in the preparation, development, analysis and dissemination of an Erasmus+ project, and consolidate a continuity plan in KA1 mobility activities. B.- Provide an enriching intercultural experience for all participants that advocates respect for diversity and interreligious dialogue, within the framework of an inclusive Europe. C.- Create awareness of the immense heterogeneity of the world and Europe specifically by promoting the social inclusion of marginalized groups and minorities. D.- Analyze the difficulties faced by each association in their respective countries in relation to the integration of minorities. E.- Create new bonds of friendship between the participants that facilitate future joint work. F.- Promote a healthy lifestyle through healthy eating, yoga and meditation. G.-Promote the understanding of the functions of the media through ICT tools. H.- Encourage young people to acquire new skills and abilities. I.- Promote the Youthpass certificate at the end of the activity, which will validate your non-formal education experience. J.- Achieve the common objectives of the different associations in relation to youth development and the fight against discrimination. K.- Consolidate good practice and good logistical and human relations between partners. L.- Open doors to new international organizations with similar objectives.
