Objectives

The society in which we live is constantly changing, affected by the performance of ICTs, forcing young people to be subjected to a frenetic flow of information. These agents favor the rapid progress of society, but they also promote or develop values such as individualism, skepticism or lack of identity, among others, which produce new needs in the social fabric. The idea of this project arises in the assemblies organized by the AJ Local Board of Youth of Puente Genil, in which the participants (all young people) show the need to create or promote different leisure activities in which they can participate. The realization of this project has sought to promote and create leisure styles in youth groups and unassociated youth, facilitating access to an alternative leisure style and thus covering some of the demands or needs shown by young people. Taking into account the general objective of the project outlined above, the following specific objectives were proposed: - Promote other styles of leisure in young people. - Abandon harmful leisure in young people (alcohol consumption, ICT abuse, hiking, deculturation). - Improve self-esteem and confidence in young people. - Improve and promote communication between young people from different places and cultures. - Promote good social orientation and knowledge about the environment, thus creating an objective and self-critical point of view of young people and youth groups about their context and situation.
