Connecting Dots arises from the reflection during the international seminar "Youth and the Museums" of the Spanish National Agency. Rebeca de Soignie, Art Historian and Youth Worker at Youropía, participated in the meeting in its 2020 edition, coming to the conclusion of the need to bring the world of culture and youth work closer together to create much more cultural spaces. connected to the local community. This need had not been perceived in advance, eventhough we knew that there is a disconnection on the part of young people with certain institutions for not considering them as their own, we were not aware of the crisis that is being experienced from the cultural side. The reflections during the seminar and the exchange of infeormation with cultural professionals have led us to see how culture has been created around the phenomenon of tourism and, in these moments of a global pandemic, the disconnection of local communities is generating a unprecedented crisis. We believe that it was time to implement community models that make the population take ownership of certain spaces, feeling more their own and integrating them into their routines.
