Objectives

The project had for objectives : 1) To observe and understand the way a french bilingual school implement their language teaching and visibility and how we can learn from thel to better implement our own language teaching 2) See their objectives in language skills to asset our own objectives and reflect about the level of competency we attend from our pupils. 3) Set a cooperation with the Franska Skolan so that we can construct common project and bring them to come to see us to observe what we do and continue the discussion about the way french is teached and visible in our schools. 4) See the way they evaluate the pupils and what are they obligations in terms of evaluating

Background

We applied for this project because we wanted to adopt a different view of what we are providing in our bilingual school, and see with a school located in an environment close to our how they manage to be a bilingual school in a foreign context where the langages are not attractive as it has been before and where it can be difficult to pupil to understand the great opportunity that languages are for them. So to have ideas and see how other schools can manage this, we decided to submit this project. It was also the opportunity for us to strenghten our links with schools from the nordic regions and to work more closely all together.
