The goal of this project was to acquire knowledge of how lessons are individualized in different European countries as well as to come across new practical policies for improving the wellbeing of students and staff. In addition, one of the objectives was to create a wider international network and a foundation for future school projects as well as make internationality concrete and visible in our everyday school life.
Talvikangas combined comprehensive school wanted to look for solutions for overall well-being of students and staff, digitalization, and challenges of differentiation. As we are a relatively new organization, we didn’t have that much experience in the field of international co-operation, so in order to develop our actions also on an international level, we wanted to start a project. Our staff was interested in attending in-service training courses due to previous experiences of some members of the staff. In addition, we thought that during a job shadowing period it might also be easier to plan actual co-operation on a student level.
