The aims of the project was to provide vocational education students and teachers/staff exchange periods, that develop professional study and working motivation also giving experience from international cooperation and creating networks. The rehearsal periods and concerts were on-the-job-learning based. The students got feedback and gained study credits from each exchange periods. The teachers learned to know various curriculums and educational customs thus getting experience and new ideas to further develop their own professional skills. Besides educational program there was also a chance to learn from local culture and get used to perspective of sustainable development, that meets the goals of study plans.
We wanted to continue mobilities to Spain based on the good experience from our former project (EcoSound). We also got two more partner organisations from Spain and new opportunities for activities. International cooperation is very important to our conservatory and it is a part of our strategy. Both for students and staff the mobilities and also the visits from Spain have been professionally improving, motivating and memorable experiences. The themes, music and sustainable development, have been suitable for the content of our education.
