Objectives

The purpose of this project has been to increase the international and subject area competence of Espoo's working class staff by enabling a study period abroad. Growing your own skills and staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methods is very important in today's world. The competition for students is fierce and the professionalism of the teachers is one competitive advantage in adult education as well. With this project, we wanted additional professional expertise for the teachers of the labor college in addition to internationalization.

Background

As part of Omnia, Espoo Adult Education Centre's working college applied for a mobility project because we wanted to develop our staff's international skills and understanding. Internationality is one of Omnia's focus areas and it is important to extend it to the entire staff.
