We wanted to deepen the existing skills of the teachers (e.g., cultural knowledge and language skills) and develop new skills that could be used in teaching special techniques (e.g., for handicraft and dance teachers). We wanted our teachers to make new contacts with other international teachers and maybe benefit from that in the future (e.g., finding good partner schools and going for job shadowing). We also wanted our teachers to receive new points of view for their teaching by being a student themselves and get new inspirations for their teaching. Besides updating their skills and knowledge and learning new ones we wanted to energise them and their motivation in their own teaching and work.
We had a very successful Erasmus+ project done and more staff member had become interested in taking part in Erasmus+ mobilities since hearing from their colleagues about their experience. So, there was a interest among staff members to apply the second time.
