Aiming to increase number and range of learner and staff mobility, objective was 80 learners, 24 staff members and 10 regional working life partners in mobility periods. Learner mobility supports beneficiaries to acquire the skills needed in the working life and improve their position in the labour market during 2-10-weeks work-based learning or study periods at partner colleges in 15 countries. Furthermore, the PROFF4 project aimed to provide safe and high-quality mobility periods for students with special needs at established partner organisations. The PROFF4 project improves staff's international competences by providing 1-week working period in a workplace accompanied by and 2 - 5 day job shadowing periods. A staff mobility period updates one's own professional or field-specific competences and reinforces international networks. Responsible teachers for student's training periods together with working life partners gather information on field-specific procedures and work cultures, instruct and evaluate students in the training workplaces.
The accredited mobility project Coaching Professionals for the Future 4 (PROFF4) is based on the action plan of Savo Vocational College's internationalisation policy. The overall objective of the PROFF4 project was to provide high-quality learning periods at European workplaces and partner schools for students of all vocational qualifications and students in preparatory education and training. Furthermore, the project aimed to enhance staff to create and expand their international networks and gain knowledge of vocational education and training and working life in Europe. In addition, the project aimed to develop an International Badge system implementation plan for recognition of staff's international competence in cooperation with HR.
