Our objective is to intensify our international development with partnerships in order to set up innovative educational projects at the European level. We therefore need teachers who are comfortable with the Spanish language to facilitate research and exchanges with partners. All of this is to promote the success of our students and to allow them a better professional integration. Thus, in order to carry out the intensification of our international strategy, it was necessary to strengthen the language skills of our staff. Some of our teaching colleagues were willing to participate in these new projects, but when it came to corresponding in Spanish with future partners, or finding new partners, many were reluctant and some withdrew from the project due to a lack of Spanish language skills. This is why we have targeted teachers who are determined to participate in this international opening and who are willing to acquire and/or develop Spanish skills in order to set up partnerships.
This staff training mobility project called "Arago Destination Espagne" in the form of structured courses, is a continuation of our international development project " Arago destination Europe" initiated in October 2019 with twelve personal mobilities in Edinburgh.. Within the framework of this grant application, we wanted to continue our international development project, this time targeting the Spanish language. Indeed, our objective is to intensify our international development with partnerships and in order to set up innovative pedagogical projects at European level in the near future. Therefore, we need teachers who are comfortable with the Spanish language to facilitate research and exchanges with partners. All of this is to promote the success of our students and to enable them to better integrate into the workplace. Thus, in order to carry out the intensification of our international strategy, it was necessary to strengthen the language skills of our staff.
