With the implementation of this project we want to improve our daily stress management, both for students and staff. During our various meetings with our European partners, we have been able to discuss with them and see the level of expertise in the field of stress management. The implementation of this project had several objectives: Rethink our relationships between students and adults within the organization but also between adults. Reinvent our pedagogy to better meet the needs of students. - Make the personalized support of students more effective - Reassure and redynamize staff - Better know the educational system of Northern Europe in order to extend the work initiated in primary school.
Our school population consists mainly of middle classes with a growing number of families with an immigrant background. We have developpes listening points for our students, some of our teachers have already received training on the practice of meditation in teaching, but our organization is aware of having to develop strategies to improve well-being and fight more efficiently the stress that many of our students encounter. In addition the appearance of the Covid 19 pandemic in March 2020 made the question of stress management even more relevant. Indeed it has profoundly affected the organization of our teaching and the learning conditions of the students, accentuating the stress of many of them. Since 2009 our school has been an active member of the European school network “Europroject”, which includes 18 European schools. It can therefore rely on the expertise of some partners well-known for the well-being of their students, Finland, Denmark and the Netherlands. Mobilities made it possible to observe the practices of these partner establishments and to note the differences that exist between our school system and theirs.
