The aim of this European dynamic was to instil a real sense of ownership of European development in the educational community and to establish a network of partners within the European Union for greater mobility of pupils and staff. There was a real desire to instil a sense of belonging to European citizenship for all those involved: pupils, teachers and staff of the educational community. We have the will to federate around a global dynamic of pedagogical innovation. Indeed, the teachers wished to reactivate and deepen their linguistic and cultural skills in a logic of transdisciplinary opening. This knowledge and know-how developed will thus infuse teaching practices to promote the implementation of activities that enhance the students' investment. The project has enabled the consolidation of the objectives at the heart of our commitment to future Erasmus+ projects: guaranteeing the success of pupils in a changing world, reinforcing education for sustainable development, and aiming for the perseverance and ambition of pupils. The school's educational community wanted to demonstrate its commitment to a peaceful and inclusive school climate.
The Touchard-Washington High School has applied to develop the European openness of our educational community and to promote the success of our students. Indeed, by training teachers in this European, cultural and linguistic dimension, we aim to ensure that a greater number of students can become responsible, open-minded European citizens who are actively involved in their path to excellence and success. The Touchard-Washington High School has the ambition to open more DNL (Discipline Non Linguistic) in several disciplines and to develop European cooperation projects through digital tools (E-twinning). In addition, we aim to promote the vocational education section in Erasmus+ projects. This project allows our teaching teams to interact with European partners to exchange practices. This deepening of professional skills benefits the pupils. Finally, the project was to maintain the dynamics of our school in view of the implementation of accredited projects: mobilities of groups of pupils and mobilities of staff for the general, technological and vocational streams.
