With this project we wanted to impact our schools on three levels: -at school level by refining our internationalisation strategy (harmonising the school's objectives with the project's objectives by focusing on certain themes and raising the awareness of all staff so that everyone is moving in the same direction) and by introducing new systems and new practices -at staff level in the sense that training enriches the practices of educational teams and staff in general and opens up new horizons for them to undertake more international projects -at the level of the students in the sense that all these trainings and innovative devices/practices serve the purpose of improving education and adapt to the needs of all our students.
The College du Bassin Bleu worked on a first KA101 project in 2017 on the theme of innovative practices. It re-applied in 2020 as a consortium to this second KA101 project to increase the dynamism and outreach in the basin at an international level. The aim of this project was to train more staff in the basin internationally by increasing the language and digital skills of staff and developing innovative practices in the field of inclusion. It was also about giving impetus to international projects through a common dynamic. As a knock-on effect, we hoped to get more staff involved in international projects for our students in the coming years. The context of the institution is also a point that pushed us to apply for this project: isolation, need for openness and social difficulties.
