Objectives

The COPIL has requested that teachers be trained to meet the above objectives: *Language training according to the level in English. For teachers who feel comfortable in the target language, English training was considered to enable them to reach the C1 or C2 level. For the second group, the aim was to encourage them to deepen their learning in the language in order to reach the B1 or even B2 levels. The priority of these courses will be to develop the use of English in their subject and the ability to develop partnerships with European and international institutions and eventually prepare for certification in DNL and / or Cambridge First or Advanced. *Training in ICT will allow students to acquire new teaching practices through the use of digital tools. Thus, at the end of these two years of the training plan, our school should have a pool of teachers able to pass the academic exam for the complementary certification in DNL, to innovate in terms of teaching and sustainable partnerships with establishments in the European Union

Background

Our objectives, projects and actions that we wished to set up are to answer first of all to the training needs of the teachers (in language and in ICT) who have brought up their needs during the pedagogical meeting. In order to coordinate the actions, teachers have created a steering committee and have written a PDE in which they have identified the needs justifying the training and exchange system. Organizing training mobilities for teachers will also allow our school, which has already been awarded the euroscol and eTwinning school labels, to continue to open up to Europe and the world. Our action is also in line with the framework defined by the 2018 Blanquer circular. We wanted to encourage training and sharing activities between teachers, on the one hand, to give teachers the benefit of a mobility experience that they will be ambassadors for others upon their return, and on the other hand, to directly or indirectly benefit the pupils with better learning and an awareness of their identity as European citizens. It is important that our students develop educational and career ambitions that include the European dimension.
