The short, medium and long term objectives of the project are - to create a European educational pathway for all pupils including an Erasmus mobility over the 3 years of technological and vocational high school. - to encourage successful study for pupils in technological and vocational sections in so-called selective courses, particularly in Europe - develop and maintain the language skills of teaching and non-teaching staff - develop the teaching of non-language subjects in English and Spanish - training in Erasmus+ project management - develop project-based teaching based on the practices of our European neighbours - develop the use of ICT, particularly through eTwinning exchanges
In the framework of the baccalauréat reform, which aims to better prepare students for success in higher education, but also in the perspective of the challenge of identity withdrawal that Europe is facing, our school wanted to define a European development plan that would allow us to better train students and staff in European citizenship, in 21st century education and in mobility. We want to offer each young person entering the year ten of secondary school at Bel Orme the possibility of taking part in a European project, either in the European section or as part of a school partnership. We welcome vulnerable groups (excluded from the general education system and oriented towards vocational or technological sections) who present a high risk of dropping out of school and who have difficulties in following post-bac studies, particularly selective ones. We know how much project-based teaching and openness to others can motivate students and set them on a long-term track to success.
