Objectives

the objectives of our project was to allow the staff of our schools - to feel more confident in their ability to speak English in order to be able to support young people who go on an internship abroad via the KA 102 VET program but also when welcoming our foreign language assistants, to be able to communicate more easily with them. - to enrich their pedagogical practices by implementing techniques little used in France - give a real international dimension to our 4 schools.

Background

Our consortium is made up of 4 agricultural vocational schools and international openness is an important focus for us. Created since 2015, we have jointly filed a KA1 professional training file. Since the creation of our consortium, we have wanted to support our educational team in charge of the projects. Communication is very important when miles separate us. The idea of being able to work at certain times between several members of the consortium without necessarily having to travel, but while being very efficient seems to us to be a priority. So far, our experiences have been very rich, but they have also highlighted our limits in certain areas. Indeed, the first obstacle for staff to participate in the various mobility activities including support for trainees is their lack of confidence in their ability to communicate in English. Our staff have also told us of their desire to be trained in the latest teaching techniques using digital tools while taking advantage of an English language bath to consolidate their knowledge.
