The implementation of this project had very specific objectives: - To improve the language skills of pupils and their autonomy in modern languages. - To train language staff: in particular those involved in technological education in modern languages (technological sections) who are not teachers of modern languages and who must introduce CLIL tools and methods into their courses (2019 reform) - To encourage staff to take their CLIL certification, to upgrade their language level (from B1/B2 to C1/C2) - To develop interdisciplinarity within the framework of the reform and in order to set up collaborative Erasmus + projects - To involve staff more in European projects so that there is an impact on students in terms of methods and learning - To create a group dynamic in order to motivate colleagues to change practices and improve working relationships - To reinforce the cultural openness and European feeling of the students - To work on internal and external communication - To pool the resources of our projects - To improve the skills of our steering committee - To develop projects that serve the collective interest - To improve the visibility and attractiveness of our school.
The opening up to the international scene is a major axis of our school project, considered as a lever to accompany our students in a path of excellence. We wanted to improve the language skills of all our staff and develop our international outlook with better equipped staff, particularly to respond to the reform of the school curriculum in 2019, which introduces co-teaching in all the technological series, and to strengthen our teaching in the European and Oriental Language Sections and Bachibac. A questionnaire to assess the needs and build our training project showed the need to enhance language skills and the need to discover other European educational systems in order to renew teaching practices and maintain staff motivation. Finally, the project was aimed at all staff in order to decompartmentalise, encourage teamwork and allow for better internal and external communication. On the scale of our area, the results obtained were to develop the attractiveness of our school in order to confirm its international identity.
