Objectives

With this European mobility project, we wanted to prioritise the following objectives: - To set up a common culture of school climate in the network of the Cités éducatives of the Académie de Versailles; - To bring new expertise to the Académie and to disseminate it to the Cités éducatives; - To continue the academic dynamic of training managers to enable the teams to increase their skills; - To participate in federating the actors of the Cités éducatives in inter-grade levels and between departments; - To have a real impact on the number of incidents of violence recorded and on the number of young people dropping out of school.

Background

The Académie of Versailles is rich in population and territorial diversity. It welcomes both children from the most privileged backgrounds and a relatively high rate of children from the most disadvantaged socio-professional categories (30%). Faced with this diversity, the Académie must provide different responses adapted to each local situation with the general objective of improving the performance of pupils and their success at school, at work and as citizens, with particular attention to fragile areas. This is the ambition and objective of the Cités éducatives. This is why this mobility project, which is fully in accordance with the priorities set at national, academic and local levels, has been proposed to the secondary schools of the Académie that are part of the Cités éducatives.
