The objectives of this project are threefold: - The development of the skills of managers and teachers who accompany the public concerned by all forms of exclusion through observation courses and structured courses abroad allowing them to enrich their practices in matters of inclusion - To increase the linguistic skills of staff who train and support allophone pupils in a plural approach to languages and who wish to implement European partnerships in order to increase the openness of pupils to the world and in particular to Europe. - To develop a dynamic of mobility and partnerships in rural schools which are excluded from it because of their isolation. This project also wishes to contribute to the European objectives of the fight against dropping out and to encourage the participation in the E+ program of the most fragile publics and the most distant from its actions, in order to actively fight social determinisms by involving personnel who are in charge of the education and training of publics with fewer opportunities.
The Academy of Reims has set the objective of helping each student to shape their personalities, develop their full capacities, become aware of their strengths and talents in order to find their place in our society as an enlightened adult opened to the world. However, the Academy of Reims has a higher proportion of vulnerable groups than other French academies ; there are 30 REPs (networks of schools where education is a priority) and large rural areas with very contrasting economic characteristics (38% of schools are located in rural areas and 43% of social and professional categories are underprivileged). The struggle against dropping out of school (only 56.7% of students who failed the baccalaureate are still in the school system at the beginning of the next school year) and social determinism, as well as the reinforcement of equal opportunity, are therefore strong challenges the academic project seeks to respond to. International cooperation is one of the levers for combating all these problems. All the mobilities and exchanges with our European colleagues are solutions that we can provide for the success of all students and a more inclusive school. Our schools also suffer from a strong isolation ; this project gives a European dynamic thanks to the partnerships and mobilities engaged.
