The first objective is to strengthen the language skills of all staff, regardless of their initial level. The second objective is to build quality education (United Nations sustainable development objective 4). This is embodied in the co-education observed through job shadowing. The observation of all the practices in Europe around school-family co-education engages the staff by questioning their professional gestures and their relationship to the educational community. This orientation is a determining factor in a global approach to improving the school climate, which is essential for the success of pupils. The combination of the two mobilities (modules 1 and 2) offers staff the possibility of gaining confidence and opening up to new practices that will enable them to develop professionally.
The main objective of this project was to open up our nursery and elementary schools in the Dordogne to the international scene, in order to break out of the rural isolation for some of them, by bringing together the educational teams of this department around European training and exchanges. We trained various staff (school teachers, trainers, inspectors) through English courses but also during a week of mobility to observe and question the professional practices of other teachers in Europe. The subject we chose for these observations was co-education, because it is considered to be one of the determining factors for improving results, the school climate and pupils' ambitions. The TWO-e project is a continuation of the ONE-e project, which was affected by the pandemic and for which we coul not carry out all the mobilities. The involvement in the TWO-e project has allowed us to spread ERASMUS+ throughout the Périgord region and to concretise the contacts we had established since 2018 with more than thirty partners in Europe.
