Objectives

Through this project, we hoped that: - teachers are more comfortable teaching English, more creative and more motivated to propose collaborative, innovative and motivating projects opening up to the world and Europe. - trainers are more confident to support teachers in language teaching, to design interdisciplinary and collaborative European projects and trainings and to become involved in the LVE departmental group. - the language path of the pupil be improved with a better command of English (A1 and 2 items A2) and a better knowledge of the constituent countries of the European Union. - ENIs are more comfortable in communicating in English with education managers in Europe, are able to promote LVE projects in their constituency (e-Twinning type). - all participants can discover teaching methods such as DNL, CLIL or CLIL (teaching a subject in English) in order to transfer them to the classroom and develop the network of “enhanced English” schools.

Background

Following a first Erasmus+ KA1 project, we wanted to further develop language, methodological, didactic skills and knowledge of the education system in Europe with a new group of school teachers, trainers, pedagogical advisers and inspectors expressing the following needs: - language refresher - language didactics - teaching methods (English and mathematics) - the discovery of new digital tools - the discovery of education systems - openness to the European Union We also wanted to meet the expectations of the National Plan for Modern Languages in terms of European openness, mobility and language skills. In addition to the new skills developed by the group, the aim was also to increase the students' skills: improved results in secondary school, oral fluency, openness to the world and acceptance of otherness. There are many reasons: political, civic, linguistic, professional and social.
