The PDE aims to develop a European and international culture for all, by encouraging the real practice of languages.LP Les Ferrages wanted to improve the following points - the language level of the adults working in the European section, in order to raise the language level of all learners; the openness of adults to European culture; the professional culture of the teaching and management teams. - The language level of the staff is one of the obstacles to the project. The linguistic shortcomings of the adults have an impact on the development of the KA 102 component because it limits direct exchanges with the host partners and exchanges on reinforced teaching practices. Finally, the constitution of the teams accompanying the learners in mobility is subject to the strong constraint of the limited number of fluent speakers of English or Spanish. However, with the growing European commitment, an increasing number of people wish to become actively involved in the development of the project. In the next 1-3 years, the aim is to strengthen pedagogical links with partners through the use of etwinning; stabilising partnerships. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
The decision to apply for this project was based on a very strong desire to internationalise the training of a highly impoverished vocational school population (GPI 81.9/50% of grant holders). It is one of the two components of the school's internationalisation strategy. The school is strongly committed to the implementation of the Euroscol label, which is selective in this academy. The ambition is to allow as many teachers as possible to initiate parts of a session or complete sessions in DNL. Moreover, one of the obstacles to the extension of the European project, identified by the Erasmus+ steering committee, was the lack of a minimum command of the languages of the host countries for the work placements by some adult supervisors.
