Objectives

In an uncertain health period, we tried to develop with our European partners a feasible training program for the largest number of people, in particular those who are far from mobility. We paid particular attention to people who are geographically isolated (far from big cities) as well as to a public that has never been on a mobility trip (we dedicated a mobility trip to the administrative staff of the Rectorate, which had never been made before). Particular attention was also paid to priority education in the selected applications. The academic training plan focused on 3 axes, in order to promote continuity with our previous projects Our actions focused on : - the development of international projects (module n°2: Developing International Projects in Schools 2 - DIPS 2) - innovative practices (new module : learning and teaching through arts in Venice) - improving language skills - the discovery of other educational environments in Europe with jobshadowings Finally, as previously mentioned, we wanted to celebrate the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union through this project. We wanted to put the effort before time on the green approach in our mobilities, in terms of transport, when it was possible. This was not contractually planned but we used soft mobility to make long trips such as : Montpellier - Milan by train and Montpellier - Venice by bus (15 hours ! ): 27 green mobilities.

Background

MOB 2020-22 is a continuation of the 6 MOB2 programs (MOBilisation de tous pour la MOBilité de tous) conducted by the academy since 2014. These consortia mobilize between 120 and 200 institutions each year for a flow of 150 to 300 training mobilities per year. For the past 6 years, the Academy of Montpellier has been implementing an academic program to improve the skills of its staff and learners through a very proactive project of internationalization, particularly towards Europe through the Erasmus program and mobility. With this project, we wanted to relaunch our mobility activity by starting again with a moderate, reasonable and achievable demand for grants in view of the post-Covid context. Our objective is in line with our academic policy described in our Erasmus Plan. Through this application, we wanted to improve the training offer in terms of internationalization for our primary and secondary schools throughout our territory. Finally, with this application, we wanted to prepare and celebrate the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
