We wanted to train all the educational and pedagogical staff of our school in the "Outdoor education" methods, but also to disseminate them to other schools by sharing the tool sheets produced and by testimonials. All this for the benefit of all the students, in all the disciplines, of the establishments concerned. Through the participation of the team in the mobilities, we also wanted to form a team capable of leading the future European projects of the school (management, even coordination of KA1 and KA2 projects), to solidify our expertise and the European dimension of our school.
This project responds to directives pushing to develop in all schools the components : - Sustainable development, - inclusion and the fight against school failure, - European openness. It has been noted that our school lacks the educational, pedagogical and organizational skills of the management and teachers to achieve the objectives of the authorities. Training the staff in the "Outdoor Education" methods through a KA1 project of staff training involving countries from the North and South of Europe seemed to us to be the best way to work on the three aspects at the same time.
