Faced with the constant evolution of our families and our society, our school project had made it possible to orient and refine our priorities: - stimulate a dynamic of foreign languages from an early age - promote and strengthen our European identity - educate about the environment and sustainability - stimulate learning by using new technologies in its pedagogy For the implementation of our school project according to its priorities, the steering committee of our organization has identified some main objectives in the field of mobility and European cooperation: - improve and strengthen the foreign skills of teaching and non-teaching staff - educate for sustainable development - teach differently by using digital tools in our teaching methods - optimize the management, implementation and steering of European projects For this, a training plan has been established and we have considered structured courses as well as an observation internship in different European countries.
Our primary school, attached to a school complex (school, college, high school) has registered for a Key 1 action of the ERASMUS+ program in order to meet educational needs. Located in the south of France between Italy and Spain, Aix en Provence is an attractive city where many families come to settle there. Every year, we welcome many students of all nationalities and of all origins. We wanted to develop the educational offer of modern languages to all, better educate for sustainable development, offer new innovative pedagogies using new digital resources and strengthen our European identity. Our team felt the need to improve and strengthen its linguistic skills, to revitalize itself pedagogically, to propose new methods, to meet other European teachers, to introduce and train the many trainees in observation or in responsibilities that we welcome every year to European programs. Finally, our school needed to enable teachers and non-teaching staff to experience new challenges in Europe and to develop new skills.
