"MOVE!" corresponded to many of the priorities of O.GUICHARD Vocational School's project: - Opening horizons, nourishing ambitions by guaranteeing access to mobility, culture and citizenship. Preparing for successful integration into society and the workplace by strengthening our relationships with international professionals in order to ensure that all students pass their exams. Offering an international experience for each student during their schooling. - Promoting educational success, helping students find employment and fighting against dropping out of school, by motivating students, increasing their self-confidence and their autonomy. It was an opportunity to look at them in a new light, to leave their difficulties at the border, to dare to be mobile, to gain self-confidence, to develop their self-esteem, to anticipate the evolution of their profession, preparing them for a successful entry into working life. - Helping students continue on to Level 3 training. - Improving the school's recruitment: conducting a communication policy towards students and families and ensuring an attractive image of the school.
For many years, Olivier GUICHARD Vocational School has been implementing an international strategy. We applied for this project because we wanted to pursue and develop it by reaching out to new partners and professional sectors, in order to implement the school's strategy of offering each student international mobility during his or her education. The aim was to enable disadvantaged students in particular to develop their ability to adapt and to approach new situations with confidence, with a view to professional integration on a European scale, and to combat inequalities and school dropout. Developing the adaptability, autonomy and success of learners is a priority for the school: the European experience is an added value for our students, the vast majority of whom have never left their region. This dynamic, written into the school's project and the contract of objectives, is led by a growing number of staff, under the impetus of the management team, with the administrator, the international coordinator, the communication officer and the administrative staff.
