Immersion in a European country has enabled young people to better adapt to the jobs of tomorrow. Living a new experience, through different professional practices depending on the host country, while discovering the cultural particularities, a guarantee of openness and personal development, has allowed greater creativity to flourish in our European society, as citizens. The project aimed to improve the employability of young people by acquiring new professional skills as part of a reciprocal process of pooling knowledge while following the diploma standards. In addition, the training masters and mobility referents of each MFR co-constructed the internship objectives so that each young person can discover the host company, the organization and progression of the tasks and the responsibilities to be entrusted. Beyond strictly professional contributions, language learning has made it possible to overcome shyness and facilitate integration into family units or accommodation structures. The challenge was for every young person to become a European citizen to create the jobs of tomorrow and improve European competitiveness.
The Regional Federation of MFR (FRMFR) of Brittany has been committed, for many years, in its mission of network coordinator, to let 8 MFR spread over the entire Breton territory travel abroad. 62 young people from the Erasmus program wanted to visit 7 different destinations: Ireland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Spain, and Greece. The young people were supposed to travel during the spring period of the year 2021. They have prepared themselves to obtain a technological or professional Bac with different options: Leadership and Management of Farms, Service to Individuals and Territories, Sciences and Technologies of Agronomy and Life, Leadership and Management of Forestry and Horse Farms, Dominant Livestock System (cattle, canine, equine) and Food Sales Consulting Technician. At the same time, the FRMFR wanted to mobilize 3 teachers so that they experience mobility, for a week, to meet the objectives of the MFR movement, which is to energize the educational and pedagogical teams by strengthening their capacities and skills to update their knowledge to progress and innovate in their practices.
