Objectives

We want through mobility to avoid school dropout as much as possible, facilitate inclusion and equity of opportunity for all students in vocational training. For the good of our learners, we must continue along these ever-changing paths of progress in order to adapt as much as possible to the reality of the French and European labour market. This project was to cover five classes of Professional Baccalaureate, (one in hotel and catering and two in sales) but also a class of apprentices in hotel and catering and our section Ulis which allows young disabled people to follow courses in the best possible conditions. This project also included 1 teacher we wanted to help increase his language and professional skills in another European country, to have the same approach to mobility as his pupils, which facilitates the training of young people. In the end, due to Covid, we were only able to organise the mobility of the hotelv and catering (4 weeks instead of 8) and sales (4 weeks respected). The teacher was unable to complete his mobility. We were able to organize a mobility for Bac Pro Accueil (4 weeks).

Background

We have been setting up projects for many years to help us in our mission as educators, and to provide our students with innovative teaching. We strive for excellence for our professional education learners, often from disadvantaged backgrounds. Mobility has appeared to us as an innovative way to integrate into the curriculum of our learners and has become an essential for our young people of the professional baccalaureate classes in Hospitality and Catering, in Sales but we also opened for the first time to the class of Bac Pro Accueil. Our students are increasingly motivated to take part in our European projects year after year, because they have understood that we are putting them on quality courses that lead to professional, cultural and personal success.
