In qualitative terms, we aimed to achieve the following objectives FOR THE LEARNERS - An increase in technical and organisational qualifications (for each trade). - The development of transversal skills (understanding, communication, adaptability, openness to the world, autonomy, etc.). - The development of professional motivation and entrepreneurial spirit. FOR VET CENTERS - An increase in the skills of teaching teams in the design of training projects and the organisation of teaching (professional development). - A strengthening of interdisciplinary work. - A different approach to companies with a view to co-constructing the professionalization pathways of young people going abroad. - A strengthening of their attractiveness FOR COMPANIES - An increase in the professional skills of apprentices (know-how complementary to technical skills). - A source of stimulation and inspiration for other employees based on the experience of employees trained abroad. - Improved competitive advantage, by conveying a more dynamic and successful image. These qualitative objectives have been achieved, as the various reports and testimonials collected attest.
The CCCA-BTP defines European mobility as a pedagogical innovation, fully integrated in its training centers’ strategies of training in the building and public works trades through work-based learning (dual system). It contributes to the reinforcement of the quality of apprenticeship in the building and public works sector, to its attractiveness to young people and companies and motivates the arrival of new apprentices. This project has enabled the CCCA-BTP to strengthen its actions to increase the number of training organisations in the building and public works sector implementing mobility, to stabilise partnerships with training centers and companies abroad and to provide structured and regular support to the pedagogical teams of building and public works training centres and other organisations in order to continue to strengthen the European component in French training courses. Our initial provisions were thwarted by the Covid-19 period. Nevertheless, from 2022 onwards, new mobilities have been carried out with great dynamism and the prognosis for the post-project period looks positive. Thus, the initial intention to include BTP Mobility+ 2020-2022 in a long process, from preparation and search for partners to valorisation, has been achieved, with a shared investment by the CCCA-BTP and the training organisations involved.
