We aim several objectives through the implementation of this project. Some target learners from the Lycée and CFA La Cadenelle, others target their teachers. We have been offering mobility to our learners and teachers since 2009 and since 2011 with Erasmus. Regarding learners, we aim to give them an open mind both culturally and professionally (Catering). We also aim to develop their language skills, their independence, their curiosity, their ability to live together. This also strengthens the feeling of European citizenship. For teachers in vocational schools, the objective is to allow them to familiarize themselves if possible with the same geographical contexts as the learners. It is also about allowing them to discover different professional and/or pedagogical practices in order to realize that it is possible to teach differently. By implementing the mobility actions indicated below, we hope to achieve all its objectives in varying proportions from one individual to another.
At La Cadenelle Lycée & CFA school, we are convinced that the international open mindness of our educational community is essential. Beyond the fact that several of our courses are turned by nature towards the international (Bac teacher Cooking and Service in Catering, BTS Management in Hotel and Catering, BTS Tourism, BTS International Trade ...), we believe that physical mobility is a major and very effective aspect of the education of future citizens who attend our school. Indeed, the knowledge and skills acquired through physical experience are more permanently inscribed in our memory. Upliving experiences in a different cultural and geographical context is very rewarding. It is therefore obvious that the teachers and staff of La Cadenelle must also experience mobility in order to encourage, prepare and enhance the mobility of our learners.
