Objectives

To enable exchanges of professional practices and the updating of knowledge on common European issues related to guidance and professional integration. The project is part of the policy of European openness promoted by the Ministry of Education and based on a diversity of actors. Because the concept of lifelong guidance is now part of a context in perpetual transformation, guidance practices must evolve. The objectives of this project were, through immersion in another country - to exchange good practices and tools related to guidance - to contribute to the challenges faced by professionals - to contribute to the construction of a European training area Through these exchanges, the professionals were able to improve their language skills in a common professional field, to develop knowledge of tools, knowledge of qualifications and the European job market.

Background

The application is in the context of educational and vocational guidance. The project aims to develop professional knowledge and skills for guidance practitioners. The choice of orientation depends on individual, educational and professional paths, but also on the economic context, the state of the job market and the possibilities of integration. The internationalisation of trade, the digitalisation of society and demographic changes are all factors that are modifying professional environments and introducing the need for mobility and new skills. Guidance professionals who work with young people or adults take these changes into account in their professional practice. They need to answer their clients' individual questions, understand the skills and knowledge needed to best advise on training and integration opportunities in a European and international context. This exchange project between professionals is based on short mobility experiences to develop knowledge and new personal and professional skills and to initiate networks.
