CIME_pro is the oldest and most emblematic project in our regional authority. Created in 2013 with the acronym MOPIC13 (MObilité en PICardie 2013-2015) and including 7 schools in 2013, it now includes 40 schools, 39 public and private vocational high schools and our Apprentice Training Centre of the « Académie d’Amiens » (CF3A). Since its inception, it has enabled more than 1,500 vocational school students to participate in mobility projects. These students are too often excluded from this type of project because of their social background, which often leads to a lack of ambition and self-confidence. This is the main objective of our projet : nurturing ambition, self-confidence, open-mindedness and of course equal opportunities for all. Through this projet, we also want to ensure that each high school with vocational departments of our territory propose vocational training periods abroad to their students. This objective has not yet been achieved, as a dozen of such institutions are not membersof the consortium. But, thanks to this consortium, through the simplification of procedures and sharing of practices that it provides, that we are today moving towards this objective with a sixfold increase in membership in seven years.
With an academic dropout rate higher than the French average and the highest unemployment rate among young people under 25 in France (more than 25%), the Amiens Academy must implement strong educational measures to reduce territorial inequalities and lower the above-mentioned rates. This is why our academic project "Ambitions 2025" includes a major objective concerning the mobility of students and staff (Axis 2, objective 3: Encourage openness to the world). Pupils and students are the first target, staff the second, as staff mobility is a powerful lever for the deployment of ambitious projects aimed at young people. The two other academic consortia that we support confirm these statements: CIME_sco and CIME_sup (Inter-academic Consortium for Mobility in Europe in school education, and its equivalent in higher education). CIME_sco replaces the consortium previously known as MOPAAM (Mobilité des Personnels de l'Académie d'Amiens) due to the possibility, through the new Erasmus+ 2021-27 programme, of organising mobilities of pupils from the school sector within its framework. Each year, since 2018, an application for funding is submitted for each of these 3 projects.
