Objectives

Objectives: What did you want to achieve with the implementation of this project? This project was set up in order to combine European openness and the development of a professional culture. Thus, its title "Towards the emergence of a pro(fessional)-European generation" already develops the two main guidelines of our establishment. And the "High school of professions with international vocation" label already shows very clearly where our establishment is heading. The two major axes of the High school Théodore Monod are: Preparing the future professionals of tomorrow and preparing the future European citizens of tomorrow, and these two axes can come together to form one, metaphor for the title of our project: How to prepare the future professional citizens of tomorrow? The objectives of our project were clear to each of the actors of this project, and this, from the beginning: to awaken a European awareness among our students, to show them how Europe is a key player in their schooling, to explain and illustrate the importance of languages in their training path.

Background

Context: Why did you apply for this project? It seemed more than essential to us to apply for this project. Indeed, our establishment is labeled "High school of professions with an international vocation" and international openness is a priority for all actors in the educational community. For many years now, languages have had a major place in the institution. Each member of the educational community is aware that the international openness and proposed offer by our establishment is a great asset since it contributes to its influence. It is quite naturally that the ERASMUS+ application seemed obvious to us, how not to take advantage of the different tools offered by the European Union? How can we not offer our students opportunities for cultural, professional and social openness? How can we not offer our students experiences that they will remember forever? This is why we decided to apply for this project, in order to illustrate all the content that our students receive every day in class, by a professional stay in a European country
