This project allows our high school students to discover a culture different from their own, foreign companies and a different way of working. Thus they enrich their general culture, their knowledge of the world of work in business and they improve their level of foreign language. This internship mobility is very often their very first trip abroad. Without an Erasmus grant, many of them would not be able to carry out such an internship, many coming from low-income families.
For many years, the Lycée Professionnel Montplaisir has been offering highschool students from the European section the opportunity to do an internship in a company abroad. This allows our students to become more openminded to the world in general and to the professional world in particular. Our students are enrolled in the European section in English or Spanish. They usually go to Malta, Ireland and Spain.
