Background

We applied for this project because one of the priorities of our school project is to be open to other people and other cultures. For several years, the BTS sections of our school, under the cover of the Erasmus charter, have been sending students on work placements abroad. We wanted to enable young people in the vocational baccalaureate, who are by nature more remote from mobility, to carry out mobility as part of their work placements in Europe. Prior to this project, we had already submitted a KA102 application which enabled a dozen young people to undertake mobility in Ireland and Spain. The aim of this application was to extend the number of possible destinations for our young people, which was done by increasing the number of mobility trips to Albacete and adding complementary destinations, which was achieved thanks to the mobility trips to Greece for the young people and the development of the Italy destination. In addition, teachers were able to carry out a language course in Malta to improve their English and another in Italy to improve their Italian and to look for partner companies in Turin, a city that we can reach by train, thus making it an ecologically responsible trip, for future courses
