Objectives

We wanted learners to be able to acquire skills transferable to other mobility experiences in France or Europe, thus strengthening their employability: professional skills, personal skills to meet the expectations of a European labor market and language skills. The South Region (co-financing) and the Academy promote support for young people towards employability by working together. Quantitative: relaunch mobility after the Covid-19 crisis and include new vocational schools with no experience Qualitative: find quality internships and avoid intermediary organizations - improve the skills of teams in finding and managing internships thanks to a space for dialogue and pooling of practices, mutual cooperation and sharing of contacts - support vocational schools in the administrative and financial management of mobility, the selection and mentoring of participants - support young people in intercultural preparation through non-formal education methods - develop European academic partnerships thanks to staff mobility to create pairings, find new companies and compensate for Brexit

Background

The RAMSES II project (Region and Academy Mobilized for Strategic European Internships II) is part of a strategy of international openness of the PACA Academic Region which is always intended to be increased to participate in its influence. The “Territories and School Dropout” survey shows that dropouts are in vocational schools where young people often arrive with a feeling of failure, devaluation, and demotivation. College: 18.7% Vocational high school: 58.52% General and technological high school: 22.8% RAMSES II aims to meet their needs by demonstrating that mobility in Europe makes it possible to fight against dropping out. The mobility impact study of our latest consortium shows that mobility helps learners develop key skills (PJ3). One of its essential virtues: restoration of self-esteem allowing them to allow themselves to believe in themselves again; crossing this psychological step is decisive. Increase in the amount of mobility in vocational schools for Bac Pro and CAP students: 2018/19 - RAMSES (722) 2016/18 - OMEGAT (595) 2015/16 - MAC+5 (113) 2014/15 - MOV'IMENTO (96) With RAMSES II we wanted to continue this evolution and used the SMART scheme (PJ4)
